Meet Shana, seeking a loving forever home for a sweet border collie mix. She is a low-energy cuddle bug with a heart of gold. Due to my recent hardships, financial and medical, I haven't been able to provide her with the attention and care she deserves. ���� **About Shanna** ���� - Breed: Border Collie Mix - Age: 7 - Energy Level: Low but still needs long walks - Special Needs: Allergies (requires daily medication), or monthly shot. - Ideal Home: A loving family with time, patience, and resources to care for her. -Dogs: Okay with proper introduction, but reactive to dogs on walks (this is what needs the most work) -Cats: Doesn't seem to care one way or another. -Kids: Loves all people, including little ones. Take care around walks or situations that may trigger the reactivity. Shanna loves to cuddle, she lets you treat her like she's a doll and loves being pampered. Cheese is her favorite! Forget the pill pockets, she will eat anything with cheese involved! I feel she would be happiest in a household with more than one person. She loves attention from people even though she's shy at first, I think she misses being around a full family. I love this girl to death, and never thought I would find myself in a position to need to rehome a pet, and have wrestled with this decision for months. I think it's best for her to find a situation that's better for her, please consider making a huge difference in this special girls life! Everyone who knows her just adores her. ��%8F� **Ideal Home Requirements** ��%8F� - Fenced yard for her to play safely - Willingness to continue her training - Financial capacity to cover her allergy medication -Experience with reactive leash training, and knows how to care for allergies. UPDATE Shanna is still with her owner but needs to be rehomed. She is a wonderful dog but will need someone with the above qualities to help manage her allergies. Once they are under control they are easy to manage. Her owner has not had the money to do so. She will be seeing our vet to get a cytopoint shot. Shanna has been evaluated by a certified trainer. She will be easy to handle and right now her reactivity is due to minimal exercise due to her handlers situation. She is really not hard to live with , and the trainer has offered her services if she goes to someone in the Tampa area. She does get along with other dogs.
