About Olive

Olive is sweet, loveable, protective, and playful. She is the absolute sweetest dog, and will give you all the love in the world if she can. She loves playing catch, so you don't need a lot other than being willing to spend some time playing catch with her (loves catching/going after the ball). Unfortunately, we can no longer keep her. As herding dogs do, she's nipped my daughter (1.5 year old) 3 times, and this time it was so close to the eye that I can't wait for something more serious to happen for me to do something. Yes my fault for not monitoring (but I always am), but we are exhausted of the constant anxiety they cant be left alone for a sec, constant dog correction, and stress that something awful with happen, and now well, my daughter's safety need to take precedence. This isn't an issue with her owner or whoever she grows to love. Its just children (small), visitors she doesn't know, and strangers (takes her time to warm up, but treats & ball throwing are the way to heart). Ideally a home with someone who wants a pet, has experience with aussies, has a backyard (so no walking to avoid other dogs), and no other pets. She just has anxiety and a hard time sharing space with other dogs, and small children arent respectful so its really hard because Olive doesn't understand this.
