About River

2.5 years old, about 45lbs. He's good around babies and small children but not great due to high energy, barking, and nippy (herding dog traits). Would do best with single owner who is active and has a yard. Would do okay with older kids but don't recommend babies and small children like our situation. Rehoming because we are having another baby back to back and we cannot meet the dogs needs for exercise and stimulation. He is underwhelmed and bored and in need of someone to give him lots of attention. He is extremely loving. Knows basic commands and how to play fetch. Kennel trained and potty trained. Needs an ACTIVE owner.
