About Ace

Hello, my name is Ace. I'm a good boy looking for a good home. I'm just over a year old and neutered. My ideal home would have a fenced in yard and an annual supply of rawhides to chew but they need to have the knots on the ends. My favorite are the size of dinosaur bones and one of these can keep me entertained for hours, if not days when you need a break from all my energy. I am still young and do require a lot of time running and playing to feel my best. I enjoy tug-war a lot! I am often complimented on my good looks, lean build and shiny coat. It looks like I am ready for a black-tie affair on the regular! When I am all worn out from exercise, I can often be found curled up on a couch napping, this is when you can watch your favorite shows. I really enjoy couch snuggles. I am also very smart. I can get treats out of a peanut butter covered Kong toy so fast. I really love peanut butter! Though, cheese would be my favorite snack. I usually get cheese, and parmesan is often sprinkled on my food. I know a few commands, like 'sit', my name 'Ace', 'come' and 'place' pretty good. On the leash I can be overly excited to go at first, but toward the end I remember to slow down and enjoy the journey. So many things excite me! One of which is the cats at my current home. I can't tell if I love them or not, but I do chase them, and they run! See, the cats were here first, and they fear all this muscle and speed. My next home would be best if there were no cats or small animals, as I tend to chase first and ask questions later. My humans say I can stay for now, until there is better place available.
