This handsome boy is super sweet and wants nothing more than to be on your lap on the couch cuddling! But don't pick him up -he will nip you; he prefers 4 feet on the floor. He is now house-trained and dog door trained but he really only uses it to come in and not go out (this should come with time). Ranger loves to ride in the car and go for walks; he's pretty much up for anything you are. He has good recall but as with any scent type breed he will ignore you if he finds something great to smell. He knows the cues come, sit, stay and shake. He is good with other dogs, we are unsure of cats. He has never been around children to our knowledge so we'd say no kids under 9. Be warned Ranger being the cuddler he is will expect to sit on the furniture and read a book or watch some tv.
