She came to Fuzzy Pawz when her senior human could no longer care for her. Even though she is on the older side, this sweet girl still enjoys a fairly active lifestyle for a senior dog. In her foster home she will easily walk a mile or more twice a day. She is a very intelligent dog and requires activities that give her adequate physical and mental stimulation. Doggie treat puzzles, treats she can chew on for longer periods of time, and the occasional game of (light) fetch in the yard when she gets the zoomies are great ways to entertain her. She also likes to follow her humans around the house and keep an eye on everything that's going on. She'll spend about half of her day doing any or all of the above activities, and the other half taking long naps, which she is also very good at! Pippa has a few minor health issues typical of dogs her age. She is partially deaf, has some trouble with her vision, especially around her peripherals, and some arthritis that makes her move a little slow when she first wakes up in the morning.
