About Blackie

I live in NW Tennessee and found this young puppy waddling by the edge of a country road in mid June. I think it's a Lab mix. He's happy, healthy and friendly. I'm unable to keep him as I've already adopted two strays - a dog and a cat. The cat and the puppy have no issues although they don't socialize. They'll come within a few feet of each other, stop, and then one of them will move away. Totally different story with my adult Australian Shepherd and the puppy. The puppy LOVES the dog and wants to play. The dog will tolerate the puppy for a short time and then walk away. He likes to fetch and will bring the toy back to me most of the time. He rarely barks and when he does it's usually only a single bark or two. I've named him Blackie (very creative!) but of course you name him whatever you want. You'll see my cellphone area code is 508 because I haven't changed my cellphone # since I moved from Massachusetts to here in Tennessee a while back. I'll be donating the $20 fee to Rescue Me.
