About Heidi

Heidi girl is still waiting for her forever home. She is a six-year-old German Shepherd-Husky mix with gorgeous multi-colored eyes. Heidi continues to open up at the shelter and show her playful side. She loves to explore on walks, play with what nature offers, and make the most of the sunshine. Heidi walks great on a leash, follows your lead, and sits when asked. She will be the best hiking and adventure companion! While she is an independent girl, Heidi still loves to hear praise and gently receives treats. After dinner, Heidi quietly curls up in her kennel and listens to music we play at the shelter. She would like to be the only dog at home and, with her personality, could be comfortable spending a few hours a day alone napping; she does not need constant companionship but loves it when her people are nearby. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to [email protected] or print it and deliver it directly to the shelter.
