About Liam

Liam was rescued as a street stray in San Pedro,CA and brought into the shelter.He is a blue merle tricolor Pembroke and has blue eyes. He had serious flea dermatitis, wasn't neutered and poor teeth due to periodontal disease. He is now neutered, updated on all his shots, microchipped and vetted 3 times so far. His flea dermatitis is gone. He had a yeast infection in his ears which is now completely gone. He's excellent with small dogs, not tested around large dogs. Has been crate trained and appears to 'now' be housebroken. He will only be placed with corgi adopter(s)who have owned corgis and are very savvy. He will not be plaved in a home with small children or those under 15 years of age. He is gentle taking food and treats but will need some work as he is a strong puller on the leash. Obedience training will be mandatory. His teeth are going to be attended to in July by a dog dental hospital and he should be fine after that. He weighs about 33 lbs., has a good appetite and is eating kibble. His placement will be limited to the southbay area of Los Angeles, primarily the beach cities thru Long Beach, Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach. Also placement in Lomita, Torrance, Culver City, Palos Verdes is open.
