About Alpine

Here is what Alpine's current owners have to say about him, 'Alpine is a rescue from Romania who has been through a tough year! We rescued him in June 2023 and in July, he tore his ACL! Luckily, he had surgery and recovered quickly. On top of that, we discovered that he is missing a hip joint! He stills runs and plays like a puppy though! Alpine loves to cuddle and sleep a lot. He enjoys laying outside and basking in the sun!! We have loved having Alpine with us this last year but he struggles with resource guarding and separation anxiety. We are not home enough to give him the freedom and relaxation he needs. Alpine does well in the crate most days, but struggles sometimes with settling in. A home with a large yard and space to run during the day would be amazing for him! He can be selective at times and would do best as a solo dog in the home! We are not sure how he is around cats or other animals. Alpine needs a family that is home more often that can give him a more structured day to day!'
