About Rio

Rio is an approximately 3-year-old 6-pound chihuahua that came from an abominable situation. Yet- he is a forgiving lad. This squishy boy is like the Pillsbury doughboy. He is such a delight and gets on well with his foster siblings. Rio has some hearing impairment the cause of which is unknown. But He doesn't know he may be deaf. He calls it selective hearing. He likes to be held but is not needy. He has great potty manners- and I can say he is crate-trained. He is crate trained because he was crated along with 16 other dogs of all sizes and breeds in squalor. Much like the commercials that make you change the channel. Rio does need a dental. He is on standby for his dental appointment which if done with my vet- will be taken care of. Some caveats will apply. A family with a sizable open property must have a coyote vest as he would be a tasty morsel for a raptor.
