About Chance

Chance is a sweet boy who needs someone who has the time to devote to him. He loves playing with balls, chew toys, and stuffed animals. He loves snuggles and cuddles from his human. He has never met a stranger. He came from Louisiana. His first owner shot himself in front of him, he ended up at the shelter in Louisiana heartworm positive. He was treated and rehomed to a home that unfortunately neglected him and yelled at him. He was brought up to Washington to a home with children and we learned he could not be trusted with children. He was rehomed but it was not the right fit and he ended up back at the shelter here. My coworker who brought him up to Washington didn't want him in the shelter and he has so many quirks it is understandable. I took him in and he needed to be treated for heartworm again because he was never put back on preventatives after he was adopted from the Louisiana shelter. TREATMENT WILL BE PAID FOR AND WILL OCCUR AT KENMORE VETERINARY HOSPITAL. Unfortunately, my only stipulation is that he had to get along with my animals at home. He has lived with multiple cats in multiple homes and NEVER had an issue. Unfortunately, he has a vendetta against male dogs. He can get along with them for short times but when he feels stressed or frustrated, he redirects on them. He gets in small tiffs with my girls but has never drawn blood on one of my girls. The final quirk is his severe separation anxiety. He responds great to a muzzle and is fine sleeping in an xpen. He loves the car and if he can lay under your feet, is completely relaxed. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.
