Location: Hayward, CA Hello, hello, my name is ZENO, and I'm thrilled to meet you ~! I'm a big, goofy, playful, friendly, fun & funny, energetic, loving & loveable lunk of a 2-year-old boy-pup looking for my FH (Forever Home) and FP (Forever Person-you, I hope!). If you're looking for a cute canine companion to go adventuring with - runs and hikes? Yes, please! - I'm your boy! I also often DTC (Down to Cuddle!). I'd love to curl up next to you and binge-watch Netflix. (My favorite genre is action-adventure. What's yours?!) I'm enthusiastic about a lot of things: my giggle ball, cuddling with humans, smiling my high-wattage smile (as is evidenced in my pup portraiture), playing with bubbles, riding in your car with the breeze in my furry face, games of chase, aforementioned runs, hikes and long walks, general 'Outward Hounds-ing,' belly rubs/scratches, and - last but far from least - y-o-u (aka: my Forever Person)! Perhaps you are wondering how such a wonderful pup is currently in need of a new home. One of my owners passed away, and the remaining family members are moving into a rental that isn't open to pups - even sweet and adorable ones like me! Let's see, what else would you like to know? Hmm...I'm friendly with other (kind and welcoming) dogs. No thank you to cats - I'll pass! I like kids, but I don't always know my own big-boy strength - and I get excited as a young pup - so a home with little kids wouldn't be the best fit for me at this time. Interestingly, I'm crate and leash-trained but not house-trained. (I'm not sure why that lesson was skipped in my first home either, but I'm happy to learn; hopefully, you have the patience to train me.) I'm a rather smart fellow (if I say so myself!), so I'm confident we can work this out as a team. :) Well, it's time to play with my giggle ball and watch Tom Hanks in Turner & Hooch, so bye for now!
