About Scout

Scout was abandoned by his owner. We are currently fostering while searching for a permanent home for him. We have an older husky (male) in the house and he has gotten along well with him. We have not seen Scout interact with other breeds of dogs or cats so cannot advise on his temperament with them. His manners need some brushing up but he has responded well to my training so far and is easily rewarded. We had had to work through some anxiety due to being abandon by his previous owner but he is feeling more confident and able to settle in. The best fit for Scout would be someone who is active and willing to put in the time and energy with training and exercising. Fenced in backyard preferred.
