I'm recently pregnant and cannot provide her with the attention and care she needs. She's an overall calm dog, and very friendly, though she's a little jumpy around new people. She loves to be pet and does well with all animals, and it only takes a few pats on the head for her to want to stay right by you. She does get bursts of energy, but letting her run a few laps around the yard tends to be all she needs to get that energy out. We suspect her previous owners abused her in some way, as she used to flinch from our hands, and her aversion to certain adults led us to believe she was scared of those who looked like her previous owners, but she's gotten better and is more welcoming to new people. She's never been aggressive or shown signs of reactivity, though she does bark when someone knocks at the door or if she hears somebody in the yard. She's house trained and kennel trained, and she's smart enough to know when she's done something she isn't supposed to, she's just a bit stubborn when it comes to training. If you're able to handle a dog that's a bit tougher to train, she would make a very sweet companion and a good cuddle buddy.
