About Cookie

Herroooo der! My name is Cookie. Would you like to know how I got that name? Here's my story. Once upon a time I loved someone who didn't love me back. I was thrown out like trash on a known dumping ground in Cartersville GA. I was forced to fend for myself. I'm only around a year old, so why would my person do that to me? I was out there for months. I lost some of my hair, was very skinny, had tons of these little bugs crawling all over me that made me itch so bad!! But guess what happened? These wonderful ladies rallied together and saved me! They laid out cookies (per my name) in this metal makeshift home they set up, and I went in and ate all the yummy cookies! I was scared to trust them, but once I did, I knew my life was only going to get better. My skin is healing up nicely, I'm heartworm negative, I'm around 30 pounds and won't get to much bigger! I get along with other doggy friends and I LOVE kids. Cats I'm not so sure about, but I'll give it a go! I'm also house and crate trained if on a schedule so hopefully that'll sweeten the deal for you!
