About Matilda

Meet Matilda, a bundle of fun and playful energy who would be a fantastic addition to an active family, but she also enjoys cuddling on the couch or bed. Matilda's spirited nature shines when she's playing chase or keep-away, showcasing her impressive speed and agility and chasing squirrels. Already kennel and house trained, Matilda also knows basic commands like 'sit,' 'come,' 'off,' 'paw,' 'spin,' and 'kennel/bed' and she's learning to master walking on a leash without pulling. With her love for outdoor activities like hiking and running, Matilda would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely engage in her playful pursuits. Brought in as a stray and currently in a foster home and she has had at least one litter. She is dog selective and needs a slow introduction to other dogs before feeling safe, but can do well once comfortable. Our male shepherd is her best friend. She can be stubborn and needs a strong-willed and patient owner.
