About Chuck

Chuck is an Bulldog that is 2yrs old. He is very active and full of energy. He loves to run and play and the water. He will stand by the hose wiggling his butt waiting for the water to come on to play. He loves toys and will play with them constantly. He loves tug toys and loves to interact. He loves interacting with our daughter and has the cutest little wiggle butt when he wants to show her his toys. When he is in his bed he knows that's his safe space and he doesn't like to be bothered. We think in his first home that he was trained to stay there and was not allowed to interact when he was in his bed. He will protect his bed and will also protect his food bowl which could also be from his time in the shelter. He was found as a stray which led to his time in the shelter before we adopted him. We brought him home to be with our other dog after losing our other bully to a sudden heart attack but unfortunately our other dog got used to being alone and can't seem to welcome any changes and so we've had to keep the dogs separated. This is not fair to either one of them so we have to find a loving home for Chuck. He wants to play but our other dog is much older and to set in his ways. Our older dog was badly abused Before We rescued him and he just isn't coming around the way we had hoped. It breaks our hearts but we need to find Chuck a home where he can drive with lots of love with another dog. He needs to be in an area where he can have a fenced in yard to run because he needs his exercise. He is a dream and will make a great companion. He is a very happy boy and it hurts to have to rehome him but we want what's best for him. If you think that you can give him the love that he deserves, we would love to hear from you. Chuck is the name of the shelter gave him. He is such a happy boy and I think he would bring joy and a lot of happiness to your family.
