About Amigo

Amigo is a beautiful Australian Shepherd//Border Collie mix. He is 6 years old and approximately 50lbs. Amigo is a sweet, playful boy that loves all people. He is good with other dogs but can be a bit bossy with dogs that are more laid back or shyer than he is, he also loves his toys and can be a bit nippy over a squeaky ball. He is also very treat motivated. He loves attention and to be brushed and really wants a person of his own to love and cuddle. Amigo is such a happy and handsome boy and is unique with one white eyebrow. He is crate trained but not fond of the crate. He walks ok on a leash and likes to go on car rides. Amigo has pretty good manners but needs work on his recall and can be hard headed. He is house trained but because he wasn't neutered until recently, he will try to mark so he will need consistent training to get through this. He is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention, and microchipped. Amigo's perfect home would be one as an only dog or one with a dog of even temperament. He has not been around cats while at his foster home so we are not sure how he would do. We do recommend kids over the age of 10 year old since he is so playful and may knock over smaller ones.
