He knows how to sit. Quick learner. -KENNEL TIME: Great if King has another dog in a kennel next to him. -BATH TIME: Great, gave King a bath and no issues at all. -DOGS: Great, I have dog sat 2 dogs with King and he loves having a buddy to play with, sleep with, and go for walks with. -CATS: unknown, but I would not recommend -CHILDREN: Great! -ADULTS: Great, when interacting with anyone he needs a moment to get to know you and make sure you are not going to harm him and giving him a treat would help speed up the process. -WALK TIME: Great and easy to control. LITTLE ABOUT KING: King is a stray. King was first spotted in our neighborhood a few weeks ago. We have dogs come into the neighborhood and leave all the time but King stuck around for a couple weeks. So I took King in, I couldn't stand thinking of him outside in 100 degree weather trying to survive. He has really been the best dog. The only thing about King is that you will need to kennel him if you leave him alone for any amount of time due to his separation anxiety and that is definitely common with abandoned dogs in general. As long as someone is home he is totally fine, does not need a kennel. He is still young enough to be trained properly and of course he needs to know he found a forever home so he is not so anxious when left home. King does extremely well in the kennel when left alone while he has a dog friend next to him in a separate kennel. Be prepared for a big hug and kiss when you let King out of the kennel. He is a big teddy bear with a sweet heart. King is not needy or clingy, he is fully able to keep himself busy and doesn't have to be in your business 24/7. Even though King is house trained, I do recommend dog diapers for the kennel when you need to go somewhere and can't take him. I am currently kennel training him. �ٴ���%90���%90%BE KING LOVES TO; Cuddle, hug, and give kisses Wrestle around playfully Play with toys Share toys Play with dogs Watch birds and squirrels Take naps Take long walks Ride in the car Be curious and learn Be outside IDEAL HOME FOR KING: King's ideal home would be with someone who works at home, has other friendly dogs, has a big family, big house, big yard with a tall fence. Someone with some experience. Once he warms up to you and realizes you are his new home, he will forever be loyal and protect you and anyone you bring around him. He is not an aggressive dog, he would run away before having any aggression. He is a scaredy cat but not afraid to protect his forever home from intruders and weirdos. Their names are Peanut and Leo. I recently dog sitted Leo last weekend, he is the white dog in the photos and videos playing with King. I am currently dog sitting Peanut with King. I'll have Peanut for a whole month. That is a unique perk for adopting from me, I will dog sit whenever you need. �٪���%8Fȉ'�%8D����%8F *I took King on July 5th, 2024 to Emancipet in Killeen for an exam and shots and to have his microchip scanned. unfortunately I was unable to find his previous owners but he is a healthy dog and will need his booster shots in 3 weeks from that date.
