About Balou

We have a Merle Blue Great Dane that was left behind by a family member. He's a sweet dog, about a year old. His name is Balou. He does great with kids and other dogs. Just way too big for our home. My brother in law moved to another state and had planned to take the dog with him. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore. He's been staying with us. I will say he looks like he has a couple sores on his legs, not sure what from. I've read about allergies with Great Danes, so maybe that? We're just not equipped to handle him. We have 3 kids and are not prepared for him. He's so sweet and smart. He really deserves the best. We reached out to local Great Dane rescue, but they're at capacity. So we're looking to see if anyone is willingly to take him. My brother in law said he had all his shots and is pure bred. But I don't have any paperwork on him. We've been waiting for him to mail Balou's paperwork for about 3 months. It's an unfair situation for Balou. He deserves so much more!
