About Maya

Maya is a Great Dane about 2 years old. I've Had her for about a year, and a half and I love her Very much. Maya needs to go to someone such as a vet tech or a dog trainer...someone that has extensive experience with dogs, that has experience with behavior issues, specifically triggers. We have loved Maya through her triggers and She is a good girl 99% of the time. I put that she is good with male dogs but I almost prefer her to be with no dogs. Unfortunately she gets triggered sometimes and will attack a smaller dog. However, She has never attacked my Larger dogs. Also she has never bit me even by accident in these altercations. But I can not break up another fight, This breaks my heart but I do not know how to stop her triggers. She will cuddle, she will play. She is a nice girl but I don't think she knows how big and strong she is. You can not take her around other dogs!!! I know there is someone that she is a perfect fit for and can love her, play, cuddle and keep her safe. I put that she is not at risk of being euthanized because I can not do that to an animal.
