About Duarte

Duarte is one of four ranch-bred, Cathoula x border collie puppies. that came to HUNAH. Lively, smart and very , very active, these puppies will keep you laughing and on your toes. But periods of intense activity are punctuated by long naps, and they are always up for a cuddle or a belly rub. If these puppies starred in A Hard Days' Night, Duarte would be John. Duarte is the leader. He takes the initiative, is assertive and too smart for his own good. Curious, but cautious, he is often the first to tackle new things. He was the first to make it all the way through the doggie door after watching a neighboring dive through it once. He is quick to let the other pups know who is boss. A quick learner, he already knows how to sit and is rapidly mastering 'down' By the time this is posted, he will probably be fully potty-trained. Like his brothers, he highly social and loves playing. He loves meeting new people and new dogs. Cats and chickens and horses are still an unknown.
