About Chiquito #blue-eyes

Hey there, everyone! I'm Chiquito, a happy, alert, saucy, snuggly 9-pound white longhaired Chihuahua/ Maltese mix fella with big, blue eyes who was born about October 2022. I've got the ears of a sassy, confident Chihuahua and the coat of a charming, affectionate Maltese. I get along with adults as well as other dogs, but it's best that I not be adopted into a family with small children. A Good Samaritan found me, looking scruffy and homeless, wandering the mean streets of Houston and brought me to Miss Donna to find me a wonderful new home. Chihuahuas like me do best with lots of close family contact because we're friendly and very social. Cuddling in someone's lap is our favorite spot and where we require plenty of quality time. This said, I can be protective of my beloved family and skeptical of new hoomans until I get to know them better. Chihuahuas are touted as 'the tiny scamps with huge personalities' (who can rule the home like a little Napoleon without proper training). My size makes me an ideal apartment dog, but I'd relish a little daily exercise. Nothing would make me happier than for you to invest your time and energy into treating me like a big dog. I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Chiquito is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $400 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
