MICKEY'S TRANSFORMATION 'Hi my name is Mickey! I'm ready to find my forever home! I was rescued recently from a hoarder's house where I was left in my kennel for days at a time with no food to eat, in the dark. I wouldn't see the light of day. Thankfully I was rescued & my life took a turn for the better.' Words from Mickey's foster parent: 'Fostering Mickey has been a blessing. When I received Mickey, he was extremely malnourished. His previous owner had neglected him for over a year. The progress he has made is a miracle! Mickey has now reached his ideal weight of 45 lbs. He's very sweet, happy, & SUCH A LOVING DOG! He makes us laugh. He's so funny, playful, affectionate, intelligent, cat, dog, people friendly. He's been fully vaccinated, chipped, hw neg & neutered, est. 3 yrs. He's super friendly with people & other animals. He loves car rides, walks, runs, hikes! He's great during bath times. He loves chew toys & playing fetch. He plays very well with my children ages 9-17. He's jumpy, but that's because he's always happy & full of energy! Never a dull day with him.���z I've been able to hand feed Mickey & pet him while he eats with absolutely no problems. The cats he lived with would try to eat his food & he let them.�ٴ� He's crate trained & doing great w/potty training. He's afraid of storms. He's quiet. It took him over 2 weeks to bark. He loves to sit at my feet to be petted. He loves chest rubs, & wants to rest his head on my lap. I wish I could keep Mickey, but it's time to find his forever home. I currently have 2 dogs, 1 cat & 4 kids. He's recovered very well & he's full of energy now. Once he's past that puppy-like phase & has settled in, he'll be a wonderful companion! Since he's a jumper & a hugger, I wouldn't recommend him being w/small kids or elderly who can be easily knocked over. Absolutely NO question about him being a great dog, I fell in love with him.'
