Momma has learned to 'sit' with the help of treats and food, and she's currently expanding her knowledge with commands like 'out' and finding her 'place' on her bed. Her love for slumber is matched by her indifference to household noises, from vacuums to lawn equipment, nothing seems to disturb her zen. The jingle of a leash or the sound of keys sends her into a flurry of excitement, signaling the promise of one of her favorite activities-car rides. Although she may pull on the leash initially, she's improving daily, and with continued training, she'll soon master the art of a leisurely walk. Momma's protective instincts emerge when she's on the leash or in the car, displaying a bark and raised hair to strangers, but she's learning to temper her guard with the understanding that not all are a threat. Her devotion to her human is clear; she seeks to be near you, a true companion.
