About DUKE

I am 82 year old woman who offered to hold this dog 5 was ago at Furman Hall Shelter. When I got to the desk, they would not take him because I knew nothing - only that the family who asked me to hold him until his turn said they found him. He seemed clean except for many ticks. I took him to other shelter, they found no chip but would not take him. I have taken him to 3 vets who are helping me look for a home for him. He will be neutered and shots July 9. He has grown a lot in these 5 weeks. He is a working dog and wants to be in control - to herd everyone. He is devoted to me already but too much, considering my age and heart condition cannot do this much longer. He needs some training and a strong young person (best not around children yet). Duke is a fine dog and will be devoted to his owner. Thank you.
