About Kobe

Adoption Fee: $100
Lab / Whippet
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Kobe is a very adventurous Whippet Labrador mix. He is a sweet and goofy dog that bonds strongly with his person. He loves being outdoors, does well when home alone, and is very laid back in general. He has a love for training, knows a lot of fun tricks and enjoys learning new tricks even at 8 years of age! He is crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows commands such as sit, down, spin, touch, shake, high-five, middle, jump, heel, and place. This boy is very smart and is a natural performer who loves to show off his skills! He gets bouts of energy like a puppy and can be very playful. Kobe is very gentle with indoor cats and small dogs. He has lived with another dog smaller than him and two indoor cats which has also gone very well. However, he has a hard time getting along with larger adult dogs. Kobe's adoption history from the Homeward Pet Adoption Center in 2019 indicated that he is not good with children. He would thrive in a quiet home with an experienced dog owner who loves to be outdoors and has experience with dog training. Kobe was abused prior to his adoption by us in 2019. Due to this, he takes anxiety medication and can be slightly timid with noises and fast motions. He would thrive with a single owner willing to work with him and bonds very strongly to a single individual.
