About Gustavo

Gus is a magical 65 lb mix of wonderful. He is about 3 years old and is being fostered with a range of small and larger dogs. He is good with dogs. Good with kids. Crate and house trained. He is neutered and update on vaccines. Gus is being fostered with 10+ dogs of various breeds, sizes and ages. He is gentle with the 15 year old blind Shih Tzu, grumpy 13 year old Shepherd, bossy Papillion, and super playful dogs. He is a great dog. He is a well-balanced dog. He can be chill or help keep a more playful dog good company. Gus will do best in a home where he will be provided an orthopedic bed, healthy and nutritious meals and get an occasional tail brushing plus daily outings and hopefully another sweet and playful dog. He is not a barker and could live in a small house or a mansion. He is a fabulous adventure companion and is an overall stellar dog. He could be ok with cats if a slow 4-6 month intro is provided. He is obsessed with lizards while on his walks and very keen on squirrels. He was rescued from Downey shelter and we are so thankful he is alive because he is an A+ dog. He minds you well. Is being trained to walk beside you for a loose lead and is great in the car. He is well loved and is either indoors relaxing or outside playing with his friend's.
