About Sammie

Sammie came to live with us a bit ago from a local shelter. Her previous owner developed dementia and was no longer able to care for her. We already had a dog who was used to being the only dog for many years, but I was hopeful they would make a great match. It has become increasingly clear that my dog is not adjusting well to sharing me with Sammie. This and other reasons of a personal matter, I am seeking to re-home Sammie to someone/a family who can continue to love her to pieces as she deserves. Sammie is a 9-10 yr old (acts half of that) female, 50-60 lbs. Housebroken, crate trained, non-destructive, perfect on leash, playful, loves the outdoors and sunshine, great with other dogs and kids, loves her toys, cuddling and naps on the couch. She just wants to be wherever her people are. Sammie is truly a gem. Let me know if there are any questions I can answer. Medical up to date until 2025. She will just need a recent heartworm test for her next dose of heartworm preventative. She is also microchipped. If you or someone you know would love a young-senior gal let me know.
