About Jules

Jules is a great dane/mastiff mix with a big heart. She is very sensitive and often unsure around new people but in no way aggressive. She loves to keep an eye on her people and prefers a calm, quiet environment. We're needing to find her a new home because our house is just too much for her. With 7 kids, there's a lot of energy and noise and she's just unsettled and nervous a lot of the time. She is gentle with the kids but does start to get anxious and bark if they're running around or too loud. Our youngest also has some allergy issues being triggered and with his compromised immune and respiratory systems, the best choice for Jules and our family is to find her a home she is more comfortable in. This decision has been agonizing and heart breaking for our family, but we feel she would be happier in a home with less excitement and activity. A single person, a low key family with older kids, an older couple.. those would be the ideal fits. She likes to be outside or on the back screened porch and has been with other dogs, but isn't overly bonded to them. She isn't super needy but does like to be around her people. She's up to date on vaccines, weighs about 105, is spayed, and truly is a sweetheart. We will be very selective in choosing her new home so please only inquire if you have the right type of environment and home.
