About Dakota

I have 2 labs in need of homes. They don't need to go together, they may in fact be better behaved one on one. Dakota is a black lab mix, he is now 5 years old. Dakota's easy going nature makes him good with other dogs and probably cats. he loves attention and wants to please. He would be good with kids, but may be clumsy with small kids. A bit of training will fix that. Callie is a female 7-8 year old, full bred black lab. No papers. Callie is presently unspayed. Our Vet is working with me to get her fixed on July 10th. Callie is probably not good with cats and she can be fussy at first with some dogs. She wants to be the boss. She loves people and good with kids. But like her buddy, Callie needs discipline to be good around small kids. All records will be provided. Both have been to vet and now UTD on vaccinations and heartworm negative. Both are microchipped, fit and healthy. Both are very people friendly dogs. They have always been indoor dogs and only negative is they are very undisciplined. A family member required home dialysis and the dogs had to go outside due to strict conditions of the procedure. Dakota and Callie team up to create mischief in the neighborhood by escaping the backyard. They were going to owner surrender to Animal Control where they probably would have been euthanized immediately due to lack of space. I had them owner surrendered to me by a signed document and presently being kept at Canyon Lake, FM 306 and Purgatory Rd vicinity (just west of New Braunfels.)
