About Timber

Timber is sweet, loving, and playful once she gets to know you. She is about 5.5 years old, is house trained, does not have separation anxiety, and loves her kennel. She can be left alone in the house all day, or be kept in her kennel. She is a wonderful walking, hiking, and running companion and does very well on the leash. She has been with a professional trainer and has a responsive recall, especially when she has her e-collar on. We are looking for someone who is assertive and active, who can give her good structure and leadership. She should not be in a home with cats or small dogs or other dominant or aggressive dogs. She can be fearful of strangers and can show aggression towards people who approach her or come into the house who she doesn't know (mainly men). She has never been aggressive towards children, and has generally been sweet towards them, but has not had much interaction with them, so it's difficult to say how she would get along, and caution should be taken.
