About Arya

Arya (female, 8yo in August) is a pitbull (AmStaff/APBT mix). We are making the tough decision to rehome her due to her fighting with her brother (littermate). They've been fighting off and on for years, but it has become more frequent and it has become unsafe, as we are trying to start a family. She'll need to go to a calm family that loves cuddles and fetch, has no other animals, and no small children. She had a rough start to her life (we rescued her) so she has a hard time with small humans and other animals. Her new family should also have a fenced-in yard. She loves to spend time outside. She's highly trained and incredibly smart and we would keep her if we could manage it. She deserves to live the rest of her life in comfort with a family that loves her just as much as we do (if not more)! We'll provide treats, her crate, toys, a bag of food, etc. We would also very much prefer to still be able to visit. We love her so much but this is the best for her, even though it's hard.
