About Candy

We rescued Candy from a rescue in Texas in Aug 2013. We had/have another dog. They were both 3 at the time. They got a long well--but the last 5 years or so, Candy has tried hurting him (another mini Aussie) when she wants attention and he's nearby, especially if food is involved. He is now blind and deaf and we just cannot do this anymore. She will attack him and would go until he's dead if we didn't intervene. (He's always been passive and submissive.) She is otherwise a great dog. We think Candy would be great as an only dog. She loves attention! She would be happy to just sit by someone all day. She is almost 14 now so slowing down but would still love walks, too. Our dogs have always been crated in their own crates for sleeping and/or when we're not home. All her bedding and the crate would come with her. She has always had a clean bill of health at the vet. She's missing a few teeth.
