About Ozzie

Ozzie is a nine month old brindle mountain car. He was rescued from a shelter two months ago. He now is able to jog side a bicycle, knows the sit command very well, and he's pretty good with leave it for things he's not supposed to be having or doing. My husband and I are seniors, and we are experienced dog owners, but for someone on blood thinners, a very active dog who tends to Paul when he jumps, this is creating a huge problem. He would be fine with younger owners. We usually go five times a week for a bike-jog to run some of the energy off of him, and he does a really good job running beside the bicycle. He does best with a simple thin leash on his neck, just below his ears. He knows the commands wait, easy, turn, and come around, the last of which is for left turns are 180��%BD turns. He does need a lot of exercise, or he needs a couple of acres to run around in, and that would be even better if there were other dogs on the property. He loves other dogs. He's fine with our cat, who keeps him in line, lol. He will play all day long if you turn on a sprayer on a water hose. He absolutely absolutely loves chasing the stream of water in huge circles! The rehoming fee partially covers a lot of Ozzie-related items, such as his doghouse, harness, leash, and collar. While it doesn't begin to cover his neutering, we would much rather Ozzie have a great home then to get all of our money back. We are looking forward to hearing from prospective owners! Sounds good
