Where are our GSD lovers!!! Miss Emma is around 7 years old and 77lbs. She is the sweetest most gentle soul and she NEEDS A FUREVER HOME!!! She came into the shelter in bad shape - mange, HW positive (But has started treatment) underweight and bad hips. She is getting high quality food, joint/hip supplements and gaining weight. She is looking much better. She has some pep in her step and is enjoying her short term foster home. She currently lives with several dogs - big and small- and several cats. She does want to chase the cat so probably no kitties for her! She is crate and house trained and a quiet girl who just wants a family/person to love her. She doesn't love her crate but will go in if enticed with a treat. She is heartworm positive but the rescue will treat her and she has started her meds and will be spayed once she gains some weight. A spay contract will need to be signed if adopted before her spay. She does like to take short easy walks so a fenced yard is optional for this senior lady. ** All of our Wigglers are spayed/neutered (or a spay/neuter contract will need to be signed), vaccinated, microchipped, hw tested/treated, and on preventatives. Most of our adoptable dogs need fenced in yards or an exercise regimen. We require proof spanning 2 consistent years of HW preventatives for already owned pets, UTD on shots, and spay/neuter in order to adopt. Please read their description above closely.
