About Misty

This pretty girl is Misty. Per DNA, she is about a quarter each Pitty, Cattle Dog, German Shepherd, and Retriever. She lives in an apartment and really needs a home with a yard. Misty is 3.5 years old and weighs 42 pounds. She is house and crate trained. She also knows sit, shake, and is learning down. Misty is good with other dogs and likes to play. She gravitates towards playing with dogs smaller than her and will wrestle around with them. Larger, rambunctious dogs can make her nervous, but she is fine with a polite introduction to larger, chill dogs. Misty is not good with cats. Misty is pretty good with adults when she is out and about. She hasn't been around kids. At home, she can be protective of strangers. She would prefer a home that isn't too busy and where most of the guests are the usual folks so she gets to know them. Misty is such fun. She loves to fetch for as long as you will throw the ball. She is also good on a leash and good in the car, so will make a good hiking, camping, road trip pal. Misty would prefer a less busy neighborhood. Being in a city in an apartment complex just has more activity than she prefers. Misty is definitely best friend material. She is quite cuddly and will fall asleep in your lap. She comes into her person's room in the morning when the alarm goes off and jumps right on the pillow next to them to say good morning. She also makes the cutest happy whines when her person comes home after being gone for a few hours. Misty is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Los Angeles and ready to meet adopters who can come here to meet and adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
