About Ollie

Ollie was rescued from a chain where he spent all of his young life, likely 5-7 years. He is about 8 years old and is all up to date at the vet and neutered. Ollie had no family and neighbors fed him table scraps to survive, the property became abandoned, and the neighbors called the police, Ollie was finally free. Ollie is about 8 years old we believe, but he has the heart of a much younger dog and is in excellent health. He loves long walks several times a day, or a fenced yard to mess around in, when inside, he has excellent house manners, is housebroken, and loves to nap and lounge. He loves calm and neutral dogs and has a good dog friend at his foster home who visits, she is a female dog. We think that might be a good match for Ollie, a girlfriend, he has done walk alongs with males as well. He loves to run and play with dogs, but does not engage in rough play style. He has learned basic obedience and can ride in the car for short trips, he is learning how to take longer car rides currently. Ollie loves it at home with his person, he LOVES his person and is very loyal. We think it's because Ollie had no one for so long. He has been fostered in two farm type settings, can live with horses with no issues. No cats or poultry for Ollie boy, he just would chase. Ollie is learning so much and has come so far, please consider this sweet boy, remembering everything he has been through. He loves walks, hikes, walking through streams, his person, soft beds, nice dogs, and just hanging out with you.
