About Brook

We are volunteer fosters who open our home to rescues. Brook was rescued from a kill shelter, in which she was placed after being rescued as a stray. She was originally very skittish and still jumps when there are loud noises. She barks when someone drives up or an animal comes by, but she has never attacked or nipped at anyone. She is very gentle as she takes treats from our hand. She is good riding in the car... just curls up and sleeps. When out in public, she is shy, but she is ok with greeting other dogs or having people (men, women, and children) pet her. She is house trained, uses a doggie door, shares food with our dogs without incident, responds to her name, and loves a gentle hand. She is spade, up to date on all shots, and has no health issues. She has been living with us for 6 weeks and is ready for her furever home. Please see her flyer for more information.
