About Maki

Are you looking for a playful, funny dog to bring some light into your life and keep you laughing with her adorable antics? Maki is a ridiculous charmer who never met a stranger whose legs she didn't want to lean on. Maki is a sweet, goofy girl looking for a family to love on! She's a 2 year old border collie mix. She would love a home with a fenced in yard to burn off energy every day (she looooooves playing fetch and keep-away!), but she's also happy to take on other adventures, whether it's taking you on a nice long sniffy walk or licking a frozen Kong. In between, she will happily nap on a couch, or possibly follow you from room to room to nap. She loves to fall asleep on her back with her paws up in the air, or on her tummy...as long as she has a stuffie in her mouth! Maki is smart and has a lot of personality. This means that she's a VERY quick learner, but also kind of opinionated. She will need some training with jumping up on people so older children in the home would be best. Maki does get along with other dogs outside the home however she would better to be in an only dog home and she does not like to share her attention and toys with other dogs. Due to a high prey drive, Maki should not go to a home with cats. She is potty trained and crate trained. Maki's adoption fee is $50.00.
