About Chauncey

Hey there, I'm Chauncey! Let me tell you something right from the start..I'm a DOGS DOG!! I could really care less about humans, I prefer to keep watch and check out my surroundings and playing with my doggy friends! I've had tons of human interaction..I'm just not interested! But boy do I LOOVE running around with my friends! It's hard to get picked at the shelter when I have a hard time creating a bond with humans, I haven't had the best experiences, and I really do just try to ignore them. There are a few humans here that I give the occasional lick and cuddles to, but that's only because I've been here for some time. The staff adores me, and they know someone will understand that I just need space and friends, and maybe if we're both lucky, we will find a bond.
