About Jupiter (Bun Bun)

Adoption Fee: 50.00
Rabbit
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Jupiter is a six year old neutered male rabbit that came to into our lives by accident in August 2018. At the time my husband was working at a pet store, and someone came in to dump him. He was very young, probably about six to eight weeks at the time. Since we already had experience with rabbit care, we decided to keep him and care for him as he needed a lot of love and attention at the time. Jupiter, most often called Bun Bun is a super loving sweat heart that craves attention and pets. He is a somewhat free roam bun, not used to being in a cage at all (he's limited to the kitchen, dining, and living room areas). We have wanted to bond him with another rabbit for a very long time, but given our circumstances could not bring another rabbit into the home. I believe he would be best suited as a bonded pair to another rabbit, or with an owner that is able to give him good amounts of love and one on one time. He has been around two children all of his life, so is used to interacting with kids. He is litter trained, but like most rabbits still leaves little pellets around what he considers his area. He has continuous access to timothy hay, receives a tablespoon of timothy hay pellets twice a day, and gets a mixture of greens every day. We have a cage for him, but it is simply to contain his litter box, food, and hay. Whomever adopted him would get ALL of his belongings, including his cage, toys, hutch, chews, food, litter, etc. If we are to rehome him we want the best possible life for him, and for him to be as comfortable as possible with the transition.
