About Ranger

I am posting this for my brother. His wife left him unexpectedly with their four kids and two dogs. My brother and his kids had to move to another state to be closer to family for support. They could not take their dogs to their new rental home. They are absolutely heartbroken and did not want to just give their German shepherds to a shelter, so my Brother's good friend has been caring for the dogs. She is no longer able to care for the dogs, so now they are forced to surrender their beautiful sweet German shepherds, Rosie and Ranger. My brother and his kids love these dogs so much and have been praying for somebody to take both of them together. This site only lets you post one pet at a time. I will tell you all about Ranger on this post. See information below if you are interested in taking Rosie also. Ranger 10 years old Ranger is a beautiful, laid-back, calm, purebred German shepherd. He was purchased through a private breeder In Matica California. Ranger has never had any medical issues. Ranger loves to go to the lake. If you throw a ball in the water he will run to get it, but Ranger doesn't like the deep water. When Ranger lived in my brother's home he slept on a dog bed in master bedroom. His current sleeping arrangement is outside in a dog kennel. When Ranger lived with my brother and his family, he would tap on the door to go outside into the yard . He never had an accident in the house. Ranger eat COSTCO dog food. He is not a picky eaters. He loves his treats! We avoided feeding him people food. Ranger doesn't particularly enjoy baths, but he will stay calm during. Ranger love to go for a walk, chase a ball, ride in the car. Ranger is also very chill and fun to hang out with. He will sit by your feet and wait for you to rub his belly or back with your feet, sometimes if you stop, he will tap your foot with his paw in hopes that you will continue. When Ranger was a puppy he completed two training classes. My brother actually had a trainer come to his house to train him. Ranger knows everything but roll over.
