Often, the kindest way to love her is to just let her be in peace. She had a double ear infection that went untreated for years and left her deaf with ears that are painfully sensitive if touched. She has only two bottom teeth left and eats wet food and enjoys soft treats. Viv is an enthusiastic litter flinger (when cats live outside, they must thoroughly cover their business to avert predators) and appreciates a covered litter box.
