This sweet lady and her puppy were dumped in my neighborhood a few weeks ago. The vet is estimating she is around 1 year old. I got her vaccinated/boostered. She did come back 'low heartworm positive' So we have her on doxycycline for 30 days to see if that can get it taken care of. She also had what looked like bilateral eye infections. They are unsure if this is an abrasion or allergies or if she might have entropion and require eyelid surgery later. She completed anti-inflammatories and eye drops that seems to have improved the appearance of her eyes tremendously. Potential adopter must commit to completing any treatment she requires as well as spay her when appropriate.
