About Journey

Journey is a 9 month old German Shepherd mix who is full of love and just waiting for the right home where she can thrive! Training and patience will be key to helping her adjust and grow into the amazing companion she's meant to be. What makes it easy is that she's already housebroken and crate trained; although she doesn't love the crate at first, she is used to being in there for the duration of a regular work day. Her playful yet cuddly nature will surely catch the eye of a family or individual ready for an active yet affectionate dog. Journey gets overly excited when she meets other dogs but is by no means aggressive, it just takes her a few minutes to realize everything is ok and then she is ready to play. She actually loves the company of another dog which would be beneficial in her forever home, a large, friendly and playful dog to have around, would be a great bonus for her. She is currently around 60 lbs, has the cutest floppy ear and loves to hang out on the couch. (that is after her daily walk and exercise). Because of her size and young age, we ask that her potential family has older kids or teenagers (no toddlers or babies) She is fully vetted for 1 year, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. Journey is located in Daytona Beach. An adoption application and a home visit must be completed prior to a meet and greet.
