About Prince

Prince Almost 1 year old Bradenton, FL Lab MIX Neutered & UTD Energetic & goofy Dog friendly (large and small) Kid friendly (loves them) Trained - sit stay, down stay, heel (loose leash walking), recall, and place. Walks comfortably into stores and new environments. I'm an owner and head trainer for PLAY K9 Academy and we just completed a board and train for Prince (paid for by his foster mom Allison) and his adopter backed out! Truly a sad story, Prince was adopted by a college student who went to rehome Prince at 4 months old, well the college student needed help with transporting the young puppy to his new home and that's where Allison came in. Allison rescues senior dogs, on her own and at her own expense. She is in her 70's and has NINE senior dogs in her home. However, she volunteered to help transport this puppy. Much to her surprise, the new owner never showed up and the college student refused to take him back!! That was 6 months ago, and Allison had still been unable to find him an adopter (she knew she could not keep a young puppy in her home permanently with all her seniors). Anyways, she sent Prince to us for training to ensure success (she had an adopter lined up for after training was completed). NOW SHE BACKED OUT!! We are currently boarding him until we can figure something out for her but even though we've discounted our rates (for training and now boarding) it's still an extra expense Allison can not afford!
