About Linus

LINUS is an estimated 8.5 year old, 9 pound Pomeranian who was found as a very matted and underweight stray in Mississippi and taken to a shelter where he was later pulled to safety. LINUS is a nut! He is a sweet boy who will give you LOTS of kisses after running around like a silly boy. Sometimes he grumbles when you go to pick him up and recently when his foster mom's sister tried to move him from the sofa he bit her hand. That is an unfortunate incident and the first of its kind. We have noticed that he doesn't like to do some things that aren't his idea, like move off the couch when he's not ready! Most of the time Linus is a happy guy who bounces and jumps around and his tail is always wagging. He loves to chase a toy, but he's not so good at catching it! He also loves to be in the yard running and playing chase with the other dogs. At first we thought Linus needed to be in a home as an only dog but as he has settled into his foster home he has adapted very well to the other dogs. The only thing is that he should not go to a home with a dog who is an alpha or much bigger than he is. Linus adores his person and will be the most loyal little companion. At night he will sleep in the bed with his people or in a doggy bed if preferred. Linus has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, has had a dental, is heartworm negative, has had a 12 month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.
