About Salem

Salem is the best dog I have ever known. I am devastated that I have to rehome him. He LOVES fetch and tug. He is insanely brilliant and eager to do mentally stimulating tasks. He is a velcro dog and just wants to be around the fun. He knows multiple tricks including sit, place, down, stay, spin, speak, 'bang' (play dead) and more. He learned all of them within minutes of training. Salem has had formal training through a board and train program and subsequent follow up sessions with his trainer. Unfortunately, his energy and drive are proving impossible to handle due to a job change and financial change. I am unable to provide him with the mental stimulation he needs. Salem would make a great dog in a home that has experience with heelers, no children, and the ability to work him the way he needs.
